Shortly afterward, Bruce left Dubai and returned to England, resulting in the dissolution of the band. In , he formed a new group around the name Asking Alexandria. In , they signed with Sumerian Records and released their first album with the new lineup, Stand Up and Scream , in the fall of that year.

Reckless peaked at number nine on the Billboard charts and the band continued with relentless touring into the next year. At the end of , Worsnop tore a vocal cord, an injury that would prove consequential years later. The group returned in the summer of with a more mature hard rock sound, smoothing off some of the metalcore and electronicore influences, resulting in their more focused third album, From Death to Destiny.

That October, Stoff split with the band. Worsnop -- in the midst of his own solo endeavors -- rejoined Asking Alexandria just in time for the group's ten-year anniversary.

The members of A sking Alexandria have seen their fair share of trials and tribulations. Over the course of the past 12 years, in-fighting, near-death experiences and multiple line-up changes have nearly derailed their career as a group. But now that the original five members are back together, they have a new appreciation for one another. Along with a brand-new music release on the way from their new label. No one was really freaking out at that point. I just took 20 months off. We were able to get in there, but it was all closed session. I just want to whistle over it. I never really had the chance to do all that finding yourself that people go through. Worsnop: We were doing that on tour in front of people. It was what felt good to other people. I think a lot of times during the way, there were parts of our personalities that were more just kind of impressioned on [us] by other people. But it really gave us a chance to sit and figure out who we were.
