January Willis P. Whichard to receive the H. January : Willis P. Whichard receives Mediator Certification. We are delighted to announce that Willis P. Whichard and his paper have done and are doing and will continue to do. In the building was remodeled to house the Music Department and in it was converted into office space. Whichard Building was formally dedicated on May 6, An art gallery in the building was named for Kate W.
Lewis, the first head of the Art Department. It has since been moved to the Rawl Building. Whichard Building was nominated for the National Registry of Historic Buildings, but the university decided to start it's own registry of historic buildings on campus on which the building was placed.
It's probably the most time I, personally, have had with the two of you together in a long time and you both and Chad made me feel so welcome and "at home". After returning back to Greenville with Gidget, there were times Haywood would call to chat with Kennith and would ask to speak with me, too.
Those times are very precious, as he would always be sure to say something kind or encouraging--or comical! That's Haywood--never a dull moment and always moving on to the next creative idea.
The memories he has left for us all to cherish will keep him close. Take care and remember how much you are lovedCoral. WI enjoyed many calls and meetings with Haywood. He was a caring unique individual who I felt fortunate to know and enjoy.

I'm just hearing about Haywood's passing. We were distant kin. His dad was my Granddaddy's brother. Deepest sympathy to the family. Angela, Chad, and family members I'm so sorry for your loss.

His traits that the speakers spoke of, reminded me of both of his parents,my wonderful grandparents. So proud of the children of Uncle Haywood and Aunt Angela.
