Yesterday I was grouped with others and helped kill Shy, but I still have some of the sacred meat left. So I can summon her in theory at least If you are Alliance and you want to tame Shy or Sian , email me at pencils70 yahoo.
I'm sure we can arrange something through the Everlook AH if you are successfull. Comment by Allakhazam If any horde gonna do the quest please say that so i can tame the other one Sian-Rotam. Comment by Allakhazam At level 60, which cat has better stats? Any advice would help me!
Comment by Allakhazam I just got her today with the help of a 60 Horde hunter friend of mine. She is a beautiful cat and had an easy time taming her. All my friend did was summon her and i had a freezing trap down and i never got feared and her mate never came. Edited, Sat Apr 8 Comment by Allakhazam I'm on Demon Soul and have this quest currently active.
Comment by Allakhazam How would an alliance character trigger the spawn of this cat? From what I have read it is a horde only quest. The reason why I ask is I would be interested in taming her. Edited, Fri Jan 28 Comment by Allakhazam i dunno it dont look like him, one is green while the other is blue, i looked at em and they look the same to me oh well.
Edited, Sun Feb 12 Comment by Allakhazam Will any Horde on Crushridge summon him for me? If so email me: di cosmocat.
Comment by Allakhazam Just helped my friend on taming him. Was a success. And we're alliance asking a horde friend to spawn em, hehe Comment by Allakhazam Can someone verify if this cat's skin is the same as Rak'shiri's? Or at least can someone post a picture of this cat at the site? Comment by Allakhazam Tamed shy. Forget about 20 resist to all, this cat have 0. Edited, Thu Aug 4 Comment by Allakhazam If there is someone that is on Eonar that wouldn't mind summoning her, I would absoltuely love to tame her.

Edited, Mon May 29 Comment by Allakhazam is there any horde that play in khadgar, that do the quest or will help me to tame her. Willing to pay 35g through nuetral AH, or maybe on your alliance, whichever, to tame this gorgeous creature.
Email- kurige yahoo. Shy-Rotam is the matriarch of the Frostsabers of Winterspring. In northern Winterspring, great cats assemble around a large landmark called Frostsaber Rock. The leader of these cats is known by the name Shy-Rotam. Go again to the harsh wilds, and once there, gather sacred meat from the frostsabers. Find the stone of Shy-Rotam , and place it there. Placing the meat of her kin before her will summon Shy-Rotam, in anger.
You have proven both your strength and your determination. Many more challenges await you, but I have already shown you as much as I am able. Post away! Log in , it's free! An alternative version of this wiki is now operational and ready for use. WoWWiki Explore. Taking that into account, we tried again. This time, I tried kiting her with Frost Shock. It was incredibly successful. Frost Shock slows the target for eight seconds, but only has a cooldown of six seconds. What I did was cast Frost Shock to start off the fight, then ran towards the road.
If you use this strategy, note that you'll want to clear the frostsabers from the road beforehand. I simply ran down the road, turning to cast Frost Shock whenever it's cooldown finished. It's worth noting that at this point, I had about max mana, as well as the Elemental talents that increase Shock damage and decrease Shock mana cost.
Even with all that I still had to use a superior mana potion a ways down the road. I was able to stay way ahead of Shy-Rotam, and well out of range of her fear. My guess is that he spawns back at Shy-Rotam Rock. I was so far off that he either never caught up or did not give chase. My brother only used one Frost Shock, and that was at my suggestion, as a way for me to save a little mana on the road. There was also a level 57 Alliance hunter who saw us and fired on Shy-Rotam a few times, but his damage was fairly small, mainly Concussive Shot I assume he was trying to avoid pulling aggro.
The removal of her mate was the dealmaker here, so I recommend kiting her down the road if you can. Comment by Jakobud Horrible drop rate on the Sacred Meat. I was farming Frostsabers all over that area for 45 minutes without it dropping. I dropped the quest, too frusterating. The Sacred Meat took about 15 kills before dropping.
Comment by When I did it, we pulled her to the other end of the frozen pond. This far away from her cave her mate cannot hear her call. So we killed her and not her add. Comment by jab I did it with help of a 64 lock at Took her down real quick. She didn't summon her friend We didn't go more than 20 yards from where she's summoned.
Comment by Nuggy Solo'd, warlock level Cheers for the tip about taking her out to the lake, her mate didn't spawn for me either. Plenty of chain fear and dots did the trick. Comment by Soloed with an 58 lock.
I wanted to kite him to gadgetstanguard, but he died of dots halfway there. Fairly easy, no add. Comment by Thottbot stone is up around frostsabre rock 49,10 ish. Pull Shy back from her spawn point out onto the frozen pond opposite the rock and her mate won't add.
Comment by Thottbot ooo and the coordinates where to summon the cat is 49,10 around that on a stone but you need sacred meat from 1 of the tigers around that first doesnt takes long for that to drop. Comment by Thottbot Cannot find the meat. Anybody else hav this problem?
The drop rate is actually low: 1. Comment by Thottbot If you pull Shy-Rotam out into the frozen lake that's in front of the pillar, the second elite won't spawn when she calls for him. Did it with a 57 Lock and a 61 priest. Just keep her feared the entire time.
Comment by Allakhazam XP for level It apperently drops from any Frostsaber, not specifically the blue ones, because we got it off a random drop. We did it with just me Druid , a rogue and a priest. If there are any Horde that need to do this quest and would let me tame Sian, please email me: matt zytrex. Comment by Allakhazam got meat droppped on 5th frossaber, summoned, pulled to the lake, chain fear, dots, shadowbolts Comment by Allakhazam The Quest is less about the reward then it is about getting possibly the best cat pet in the game.
This quest is a must for any hunter who likes cats. Taming Shy-Rotam or her mate is the real objective. Comment by Allakhazam Hi guys! I'm a lvl 60 hunter on Kirin Tor.. I have the quest for Shy-Rotam and am holding it for a while. If you're an alliance hunter and want Shy-Rotam for a pet, let me know at hgard yahoo. Comment by Allakhazam Pulled her away from the stone and no spawn whatsoever. Me 56 hunter , 54 rogue, and a 60 mage downed her quite easily after that.
She does fear quite a bit maybe times but it's no real problem if you try to get the Sacred Meat around the stone area since the mobs will have thinned out by then. Did it again afterwards for someone else with a 57 tank, same principle. Pull her away and she won't spawn her mate, Sian Rotam. Comment by Allakhazam Ravinoak, 60 Hunter on Steamwheedle Cartel, looking for a horde to help tame this gorgeous creature. Will pay up to 35g Alliance for her.
Email- kurige yahoo. Comment by Allakhazam I'm a novice at this game. This is my first character and for every one thing I know about WOW, there are a few dozen dozen things I do not know. For just one example, I have only done one instance on the Cenarius server Razorfen Kraul and that was solo.
But I have stumbled along as a solo Tauren hunter to And usually can hang in most situations. So I thought I could probably solo this quest. Worth a try anyway. I was wrong For anybody a little confused, as I was, as to the location of Shy's rock altar You'll see the altar and a path to the "cave". I got the meat quickly and cleared around the area. Placed the meat.
Shy came roaring out and cast fear on my pet immediately then on me and did huge damage to me while I was running around and helpless.
Pet came back and was dead in a short time I was dead shortly thereafter.
